News Nitrogen data Mesdag

'Effect of nitrogen measures is being snowed in'

21 February 2020 - Eric de Lijster - 11 comments

Many of the measures that the government wants to take to reduce nitrogen deposition, such as buying up livestock farms, have only a limited effect. Especially for the money that is reserved for it. Nevertheless, these results of the nitrogen calculations of the Mesdag Dairy Fund are barely visible after the presentation.

The Mesdag Dairy Fund made its own calculations yesterday (Thursday) presented from the nitrogen data of the RIVM† In the general media, in particular, a discussion subsequently arose as to which institute calculates the real nitrogen figures: RIVM or Mesdag? What remains underexposed to Geesje Rotgers' disappointment due to this media twist is the limited effect of the nitrogen measures that the cabinet wants to take on reducing deposition.

Little bit of profit in deposition
Rotgers, coordinator of the research team of the Mesdag Dairy Fund, indicated yesterday in The Hague that the nitrogen measures envisaged by the cabinet for agriculture 'are very expensive and have relatively little effect'. "Many measures are taken for a little bit of profit in deposition," Rotgers said at the presentation. She also substantiated this by giving examples of nitrogen precipitation from dairy farms close to a Natura 2000 area.

According to Rotgers, the remediation of the so-called peak tax burdens, which is an intention of the cabinet, has little effect on nature. Also because these companies are often not close to a Natura2000 area at all. It is therefore a wish of the Mesdag Dairy Fund that the cabinet adopts the correct principles. Rotgers points to the Remkes Committee, which has included the whole of the Netherlands in nitrogen, while it only concerns deposition in nature reserves. "The cabinet is now taking measures based on incorrect assumptions. That has to change."

Jan-Cees Vogelaar, chairman of the Mesdag Dairy Fund, was there yesterday also clear and done: "The cabinet must stop this virtual nitrogen game."

Amazing how last night, Jan Kees parried that leftist lullo from Nieuwsuur!!! You could see that the lullo was planning to put Jan Kees in the corner like this..... But that didn't happen!!!

You can now see very clearly that it is not the case here whether or not agriculture emits a lot or little. It is about the double agenda of D66 and Groen Links.... And according to De Groot, it must continue at all costs!!

Yesterday I read in the morning newspaper Trouw (: "the newspaper for people with ideals..") (reality no longer matters, that was different with Trouw in wartime) already a review of what would be announced yesterday afternoon in Nieuwspoort! Nice isn't it...

I think it would be better to return that money to the eu because of subsidies received incorrectly for natura 2000 goals that are not feasible.

Jan Cees Vogelaar and journalist Jeroen Wollaars of Nieuwsuur. Wollaars's prejudice was dripping. Where Jan Cees gave substantiated answers with arguments, Wollaars got bogged down in his own powerlessness. (Dairy cattle)

It does show very well how the left-wing media works.... It's bad journalism, it's pushing an opinion and brainwashing the public as much as possible!!

Ton, leftist media?
Isn't it just the "right-wing" populations, the high incomes through industry, who benefit from putting the ball in agriculture so that their shop stays out of harm's way?
??? !!! 22 February 2020
hans, delve into public broadcasting and you will have to recognize that it is far-left. If you use "radar", you will see how we are "scammed" every 'news hour'. You want such practices immediately and one-way ticket nova 'zembla'. (ps. those are just a few tips to start your exploration)

Very neat of Jan Cees Vogelaar how he did it at Nieuwsuur. That Jeroen Wollaars only said what had been whispered to him. Then they dare to present it as an independent journalistic program. Left-wing indoctrination and throwing taxpayers' money that is what the nitrogen file boils down to. The imperfections of Remkes and RIVM are not discussed.

the media and the politicians give the farmers the shakes of. this is the easiest prey, for civil servants/judges/GroenLinks.de citizens should not be bothered by the nitrogen rules. they make the Netherlands poor, working people are destroyed, junk comes in. the constitution must be amended, we adapt to foreigners. rutte no longer stands up, the netherlands, that bastard throws the money at the eu, and the netherlands leaves its own people in the lurch. vote right

The information provided by Vogelaar was so confused that the Nieuwsuur journalist had to intervene. I curled my toes. Mesdag has lost a lot of credibility. Wanting to sow confusion under the guise of science. Get rid of that strange bird.

Also crooked with the toes. But for the opposite reason.
The journalist was so confused and biased that Vogelaar had to intervene. Mesdag has certainly gained credibility against so-called "established science".
Finally a free flying and thinking bird.

Tribute to the mesdag fund, but the politicians still can't seem to get them off the wrong track, AGAIN TO THE HAGUE? I hope it is not necessary, but if it is courage.......
