Overflowing storage facilities put pressure on the fertilizer market

Applying manure is almost impossible due to the persistently wet weather. The manure can hardly be spread and the storage facilities are now largely full.

The average quoted fertilizer prices from last week have remained virtually unchanged. This was evident from this week's DCA quotations. As long as the weather remains changeable, little will change on the fertilizer market. Dry weather comes when called, because there is virtually no space left in the manure silos in the sales areas.

Fattening pig slurry
The DCA quotations have shown that the average price of fattening pig slurry in the southern region this week remains at €23,67 per tonne. The highest price is charged in Deurne with an average price of €24,50. In Tilburg and Uden the price is one euro lower, at €23,50.

In the central region, the average price also remains unchanged this week at €21,83. The highest price here is still in Lichtenvoorde at €22,50. The price also remains unchanged in Barneveld and Markelo at €21,50 per tonne.

Cattle Slurry
The average prices of cattle manure have also not increased or decreased this week. The price in the south region is still €17,67 per tonne. The highest price here in Tilburg is still €18. In Deurne and Uden the prices also remain the same at €17,50. In the central region the price is still €17,33. With a price of €17,50 in Barneveld and Lichtenvoorde and a price of €17 in Markelo, the prices are still the same as last week.
