The DCA manure collection companies show a mixed picture this week. The average amounts of fattening pig slurry are slightly lower in contrast to the prices of cattle slurry.
The persistent persistent weather somewhat makes up for the difficult start to the manure season. The weather forecast for the coming days is once again good, so spreading manure is still possible in the near future. The average collection amounts of fattening pig manure have decreased slightly this week. There is no further price drop this week in the collection amounts of cattle slurry, so the seasonal decline appears to be over.
Fattening pig slurry
The average price of fattening pig slurry has fallen this week in both the southern and central regions. The price in the south region decreases to €23. This decrease is due to the price drop in Tilburg, where the price fell by 50 cents to €22. This means that Tilburg still has the lowest price in the region, the highest price remains in Deurne at €24.
In the central region the average price decreases to €20. The price in Barneveld drops by 50 cents to €20 and prices in the region remain unchanged. Markelo continues to have the lowest price at €19 and Lichtenvoorde has the highest price at €21.
Cattle Slurry
The average price of cattle slurry in the southern region increased slightly this week. The amount has increased to €15,50. The increase is due to the increase in prices in Deurne and Uden, prices have risen by 50 cents. This means that Deurne has the highest price in the region this week at €16, while Uden continues to have the lowest price at €15. In the central region, all prices remain unchanged this week and the average price remains at €13,17 per tonne.
