The manure market has calmed down and the spreading of manure on arable land is almost ready. Prices have stabilized this week. Only in the south region is there a price decrease for both fattening pig slurry and cattle slurry.
Just like last week, fertilizer prices will also remain fairly stable this week. While last week there was only one price fluctuation in which the price increased, this week there are only a few price decreases in addition to stable prices. In the southern region, the DCA collection amounts for both fattening pig slurry and cattle slurry are still declining slightly. In the central region there are no price changes for either type of fertilizer.
Fattening pig slurry
The collection amounts for fattening pig slurry remain fairly stable this week. Only the average price of fattening pig slurry in the south region has fallen to €23 this week. This was caused by a price drop of 50 cents in Tilburg. This means that the south has the lowest price within the region at €22.
Furthermore, there are no changes to be seen in the region and Deurne (€24) continues to record the highest price. In the central region, the amounts have all remained unchanged, with the highest price in Lichtenvoorde (€21) and the lowest price in Markelo (€19). The average price within the region remains at €20.
Cattle Slurry
The average price of cattle slurry has also fallen slightly to €15,17 in the south region. The price drop here is caused by a reduction of 50 cents in Deurne. This drops the price to €15 and is the same price as in Uden, where the collection contribution remained unchanged this week. Tilburg continues to charge the highest price in the region at €15,50. There is also little change in the fertilizer market in the central region. The prices have all remained unchanged this week, with the highest price in Lichtenvoorde (€14) and the lowest price in Barneveld (€12,50). The average price within the region remains €13,17.
