Last week the DCA quotation increased by €5 respectively. Demand among dairy farmers for phosphate rights is growing, while supply remains limited. This causes the price to increase rapidly. Prices have risen again this week. The DCA quotation increases by €4 this week to a price of €150,50.

In 2 weeks, the average price level has risen by no less than €9. In the previous weeks, the average price remained quite stable for weeks. It is also the first time in over a year that the DCA quotation has risen above the €150 limit. There is no direct reason for the increased purchasing desire of dairy farmers. Options that have been mentioned are that entrepreneurs want to purchase additional rights, now that the end of the year is slowly approaching. Fearing further price increases, other buyers may respond again.

Lease rights
The trade in leasing rights is also becoming more relaxed. The average price level for this this week is around €36.
