Wakker Dier again launched the 'Liegebeest of the year' election on Monday 13 August. I don't think there is a better organization capable of recognizing a lying animal. So there is no problem (yet).
One of the nominees for that election is Campina, because according to Wakker Dier, Campina boasts that its cows age responsibly. According to the scientists at Wakker Dier (read: the intern who had to go on longer during the holiday because the previous internship was not successful), Campina is trying hard to obscure reality (don't think of that).
And then comes the conclusion of the century: according to Wakker Dier most cows already go to slaughter at the age of 5 or 6, while according to Wakker Dier they can easily become 14 years old.
Don't be scared
It's hard for me to be the one to tell it, but the folks at Wakker Dier try to cover up the bad conditions their parents and grandparents live in by talking about livestock over and over. I have heard that the average age of a person is 81 years, while a person can easily live to 94 years.
Anyone who died before the age of 94 has most likely lived in barbaric conditions. And they have been neglected by the children to say the least.
All beginnings are hard
Since it is all very complicated, I hereby offer to pay for a basic statistics course for 2 employees of Wakker Dier. Leave your details and I will contact you.
Fortunately, there is also a bright spot for Wakker Dier, because this year they will win the election themselves'Liegebeest of the year'.
