The participating livestock farmer from Zuidbroek (Groningen) made his own grassland meter last week to do an initial measurement of the grass. The grass that he measured is on clay soil and is made from the LG Havera 4 grass mixture and now measures 16 centimeters in length, according to a more professional grass height meter that comes down to about 2150 kilograms of dry matter per hectare.
