With new options in the Brassica and Onion disease apps, vegetable seed company Hazera can give growers better personal advice. The app should assist growers in recognizing irregularities in the crop early in order to take appropriate measures.
The apps contain information and photos on topics such as fungi, bacterial diseases, foliar diseases, viral diseases, nematodes, insects and non-infestations along with practical recommendations. These help growers to stay alert, to recognize irregularities early in order to take appropriate measures.
With the click of a button, the grower is in direct contact with the crop specialist. A new feature is the option to take a photo of the diseased crop and to contact the specialist directly, who will provide the grower with personal advice.
Hazera keeps the apps continuously up-to-date. Once downloaded, the app is automatically updated when there is an internet connection. The app also works without an internet connection, which can be very useful in places where the connection is not optimal.
The apps are available for free in English, German, Dutch, Polish and Russian for both iPhone and Android. The onion app is also available in French, Portuguese and Spanish. The apps are free.
