New Holmer importer for the Netherlands

Mechanization company RosierGreidanus from Winsum in Friesland is the new importer for Holmer self-propelled vehicles. It concerns the Terra-Variant, which is mainly used in combination with a Zunhammer manure structure for the application of slurry. The machine should be put into action on the Dutch plots this summer.

Van Gemeren Mechanisatie from Numansdorp and Jans-Van Gemeren has been the importer of Holmer beet harvesters and beet cleaners for the Netherlands for many years and will continue to do so. Their focus is on the harvesting technique. The self-propelled injector was never a success in our country, in contrast to its home country of Germany. RosierGreidanus is already an importer of slurry specialist Zunhammer for the Benelux, from which Holmer obtains the slurry technology.

Dutch market is looking for this self-driving car

Ask for new machine
The Frisian mechanization company says it detects demand in the Dutch market for such a self-propelled vehicle with a lot of capacity, sufficient experience and good weight distribution. Perhaps the departure of Challenger from this market has also helped. With the Terra-Variant 585, it hopes to meet those requirements. That is why a demo tour with the 585 hp monster has to take place this month. There is a 21m³ tan from Zunhammer on it. The manure pump comes from Vogelzang.

Small models on the way
The Terra-Variant 585 is the latest model in a long line of self-propelled trailers that Holmer produces in Schwandorf. The undercarriage can run in a dog walk, on tires up to a width of 1250. It can optionally be equipped with NIR technology from Zunhammer. The engine is coupled to a powershift transmission. Holmer has a solution for those who are a size too big. In the coming years, several new variants with a smaller tank capacity will be introduced.

In addition to the Zunhammer manure construction, Holmer can also build a Bergmann wide spreader, grain or sugar beet transfer trailer and a seed tank on the chassis.
