Flemish slaughterhouse is allowed to slaughter pigs again

Good news for the Flemish slaughterhouse from Tielt. The slaughterhouse can resume activities from tomorrow, Thursday 6 April. This was announced today by Ben Weyts, the Flemish minister of animal welfare.

The request for reopening was Monday still rejected by the Belgian Council of State. At that time, the Flemish slaughterhouse was unable to demonstrate a conclusive action plan.

In the meantime, the slaughterhouse has developed an action plan. This is to prevent animal suffering from occurring again on the slaughter floor. Minister Weyts has imposed a list of strict conditions on the slaughterhouse. They must ensure that animal welfare is guaranteed.

The slaughter activities were stopped 2 weeks ago, because they improve the animal welfare in the slaughterhouse had seriously violated

Isn't that bad news!!!
Stupid Belgians! really bad that they approve! what bad stupid Belgian advice! bribed for sure with all that blood money from the pigs! Those people should be punished! suppose the farmers are not stupid enough to send their pigs there again. otherwise they should be punished just as hard!
