Caroline van der Plas leaves NVV immediately

Caroline van der Plas, communications officer at the Dutch Pig Farmers Union (NVV), will resign from her duties with immediate effect. Van der Plas says he is ready for a new challenge.

In consultation with the NVV and POV board, Van der Plas has decided to resign from her position. The departure of Van der Plas means that she will not play a role in the Producers Organization Pig Farming (POV), which will officially start next year.

Van der Plas says he will remain active in the agricultural sector with independent communication and promotion work. Van der Plas is the creator of Boerburger tweet, a social medium about storytelling in agriculture and livestock farming.
