Spanish piglet exports increased in Q4

These figures correspond to the sounds that exporters make. During that period they talked about extremely good sales to Spanish pig integration companies. The larger integrations in particular imposed a large number of piglets during that period.

From the fourth quarter
For the whole of 2017, piglet sales to Spain were ahead of the previous year. On balance, 197.486 piglets were transported to Spain, compared to 191.900 in 2016. This is an increase of 2,91%. It can be concluded from this that demand has increased extremely, especially since the autumn.

Spanish demand continues in the first weeks of 2018. As many as 2 piglets were exported in the first 38.380 weeks. In the same period last year there were 10.332 piglets, while in 2016 the counter remained below the limit of 10.000 piglets.
