Today (Thursday, February 15), pig farmers are filing summary proceedings against the State through the Pig Farming Producers' Organization (POV). POV reports this on Twitter.

The pig farmers are filing summary proceedings against the decision to abolish the Production Rights Exemption Scheme (POR scheme). According to the POV, this decision has major consequences for pig farmers with sustainable stables and manure processing.

With the POR scheme, pig and poultry farmers had the opportunity to expand without purchasing rights. It do not renew This mainly affects companies that have invested in manure processing.

My manure all goes to processing and I have sustainable stables like many fellow pig farmers, so this exceptional position (POR) is therefore a bit outdated I think.

In dairy farming you were also allowed to produce sustainably and land-based and you were also allowed to expand with manure processing and after July 2015, phosphate rights were added, why should this be different for poultry and pigs?
