The ruling in the summary proceedings against the abolition of the Production Rights Exemption Scheme (POR Regulation) will follow on 1 March. The judge announced this during the hearing today (Thurs. 15 February).
The Producers Organization Pig Farming (POV), LTO Nederland and the Dutch Union of Poultry Farmers (NVP) have a summary proceedings filed against the State, setting their sights on maintaining the POR scheme. According to the POV, not extending the scheme would mainly have financial consequences for pig farmers who have invested in manure processing.

Production rights trader Theo Snetselaar from Lunteren (Gelderland), who was present at the hearing, says that the lawyers of both parties (claimant and defendant) have had their say. According to Snetselaar, the judge was well versed in the matter. The judge's decision must become clear on 1 March.
