Sub-breeders stay loyal to DanBred

The Dutch DanBred sub-breeders announced today that they will continue with the breeding program of DanBred. This after it was announced in early April that NextGenetix will stop supplying DanBred genetics.

In the press release, the 6 sub-breeders are convinced that they choose DanBred, because the buyers of the breeding gilts are satisfied. In their own words, the well-organized breeding program produces the fastest genetic progress. DanBred's investment programme, genomic selection and data processing also appeal to the group. The distribution of the semen of the Danish breeding boars continues Class Ki account for.

New legal form
Due to the disappearance of NextGenetix as a distributor, DanBred has set up its own company for the Dutch market. As of today, all DanBred breeding gilts in the Netherlands will be sold through DanBred BV. In principle, customers will not notice the changes.  

NextGenetix, in turn, continues the breeding organizations Danish Genetix and Danic. These are breeding organizations that, like DanBred, originate from the former Danish breeding organization DanAvl.
