Members contribute millions to Agrifirm

June 6, 2018 - Wouter Baan - 1 reaction

In the Agrifirm Loyalty Scheme introduced this year, members contributed an amount of €7,2 million. This amount is approximately 10% higher than the farmers' cooperative had estimated.

Via Loyalty Scheme Agrifirm members can contribute their member payment, subject to an interest rate of 6% on top of the 3-month Euribor. About the 2017 annual result Agrifirm pays out a record amount of €25 million to its members.

More than 25%
More than 28% of the total dividend amount has been paid in by the members. It was also possible to have the benefit paid out immediately. According to Agrifirm, the main reason for opting for the latter is the fact that members prefer to invest the money directly in their business operations.
