In mid-June, only scanty pig rights are traded. The reason for this is simple; the buyers want to pay less than the sellers have in mind.
There are rumors that the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) is considering changing the divisions between the various animal rights. This means that the selling parties want to wait, or are only prepared to sell from €60 per right (Eastern and Other regions). In the South region, the willingness to sell starts at approximately €125 per right.
Warm remediation
However, the purchasing parties want to give much less. This means that relatively little trade is currently being conducted. The Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality will also unveil plans for warm remediation in pig farming before the summer recess.
There are sounds that Agriculture Minister Carola Schouten 1 million pig places, including the associated rights, from the market. As long as Schouten's plans are not revealed, the rights market will remain uncertain and there will probably be relatively little trading.
