Agrifirm makes acquisition in the United States

June 27, 2018 - Wouter Baan

Agrifirm has acquired the American Special Nutrients. This company is a supplier of so-called mycotoxin binders, which are used as additives in animal feed.

Agrifirm has been working for a long time with the American supplier, which is located in the state of Miami. With the acquisition, Agrifirm hopes to expand its market share and product portfolio in this area.

For all sales markets
Dutch livestock farmers can also benefit from the knowledge of Special Nutrients. Agrifirm is convinced that the combined knowledge will lead to extra added value for customers in all markets, CEO Dick Hordijk said. The amount of money involved in the acquisition has not been disclosed.
