China received the most pork from Germany in 2018, putting Spain in second place. This is evident from the latest figures from the Danish Council for Agriculture and Food.
Germany sold a total of 2018 tons of pork in China in 228.371, an increase of 8% compared to 2017. Spain from the throne, because that country was previously China's largest supplier. Spain exported 219.626 tons of pork to China last year, which is almost 7% less than the previous year.
Third place is filled by Canada. This country exported a total of 2018 tons of pork to China in 160.260. Canada is followed by Brazil, because that country exported approximately 150.000 tons to China. It is striking that the export of Brazilian pork increased by more than 2018% in 200, because in 2017 the export to China amounted to 48.716 tons.
The gap with fifth place is then considerable. This position is occupied by the USA. This country exported a total of 2018 tons of pork to China in 85.650. That is about 50% more than was exported to that country in 2017.
