ForFarmers hires new directors from its own stable

ForFarmers has appointed a new commercial director for both the Pigs subsector and the Poultry subsector. Both directors come from the ranks of the listed cattle feed company from Lochem.

Richard Dijkstra, the former dairy cattle sales manager, will be responsible for the Pigs sub-sector as of 1 April, while Michiel Scheurs will lead the poultry team. Scheurs was previously director of Mergers, Acquisitions and Integration and in 2016 supervised the deal with, among other things, Vleuten-Steijn.

It was previously announced that Jos Koopmans will be the director of Herkauwers. Koopmans has a history with breeding organization CRV and also owned a dairy farm in East Germany.

Dijkstra, Koopmans and Scheurs will succeed Pieter Wolleswinkel (Pigs) and David Fousert (Herkauwers), who in turn will replace outgoing COO Jan Potijk in the management of ForFarmers.
