Stopping pig farmer can calculate subsidy himself

21 November 2019 - Kimberly Bakker - 19 comments

Pig farmers who want to get an indication of how much subsidy they can receive if they stop running their business can now calculate this themselves on the website of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl).

Pig farmers in the East or South concentration areas (with a minimum odor score of 0,40) can register for the 'warm remediation of pig farming' Regulation from Monday 25 November. A total budget of €180 million is available for this subsidy scheme. The allocation This is done on the basis of the odor score: the higher this score, the greater the chance of a subsidy.

When the odor score is high enough, this pig farmer receives compensation for the surrendered pig rights. This compensation amounts to €52 per right in the East region and in the South region is €151 per pig right handed in. In addition, the pig farmer receives an allowance per m2 for the loss of value of the animal houses, the manure silos, the feed silos and the manure cellars. This amounts to 65% of the corrected replacement value.

Calculate the subsidy amount yourself
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency has already a calculation tool added, with which the interested pig farmers can get an indication of the amount to be received. To do this, they must indicate the number of pig rights that will expire, the region of the location, the date on which an animal house is put into use, the date of the application and the number of mXNUMX.2 fill in per animal house.

RVO.nl clearly states that this is an indication. "The actual subsidy amount can therefore still differ," writes the government agency.

€60 million is earmarked for sustainability, of which €40 million is for pigs. When will it be known which conditions sustainability must meet? †
truth 21 November 2019
it's a lukewarm remediation if you ask me...
grunt 21 November 2019
I participate, I just did the calculation, which comes to a total of € 350 per fattening pig and a total of € 1600 per sow. Can still sell the pigs for an average of 120/450 euros and continue to live. I will never get this from another buyer and there is only one golden opportunity.
Joha 21 November 2019
And then demolition and manure removal. Do you count
time 21 November 2019
Most cannot rely on warm remediation and so most fall into cold remediation
grunt 21 November 2019
True @Tempo, although I expect the scheme to be expanded in terms of money and area. No one is obligated to participate, it is just a chance to get this money. Not participating is not nagging later. In our case of a closed farm with 500 sows, it concerns millions, that money will not pass by now that young people are dropping out en masse to become farmers.

they can also simply offer future prospects, young people do want to be teased, but not constantly
Roy 22 November 2019
grunt,
May I ask what your age is?
grunt 23 November 2019
42 springs young, still plenty of opportunities. With at least a million euros between bank debt and restructuring money, we are going to make it a bit more pleasant for ourselves.
Roy 23 November 2019
Maybe a good choice grunt, but it's a shame that such "young" entrepreneurs also cut it
pete pilot 23 November 2019
knor calculates it well
before you come home with the cold fair
fattening shed 20 years 281 euros times 65% = 182
you can also sell the rights 150 €
€182 IS PER METER
50 € for the demolition
than the subsoil is withdrawn from agriculture
you have to pay for that too
think about it when you are 42 years old
100 € feed profit per place
is two years of work for that 182 €

I can do the math, Pete. Submitted immediately this morning, three million euros for indeed still young stables and then the rights and the pigs. Another nice year's run with top prices. After that, other countries have filled the gap of China again and we go back to € 1,40 with another 30 new rules. None of us are married to the pigs and the wise talk of suppliers and traders is not for me. If the profits remained structurally this good, the free circulation rights and value companies did much more.

Knor has seen it right and does not miss such an opportunity, although it is of course too crazy for words to buy up young stables.
Now just have to wait, because it will be overwritten quite a bit.
time 25 November 2019
Guys you do not count rich with such a tax is also involved .
Kees 26 November 2019
Much private and the rest in a BV, then it is not so bad with that tax.
bert 26 November 2019
Doesn't the tax authorities see this as a strike if you are in a BV? @kees
Kees 26 November 2019
Yes, but in a BV a maximum of 20% tax compared to 44% for another form of business. In addition, I have the house private and it is unencumbered, just like the ground. Have also registered for the remediation, including rights and pigs 3,5 million euros, must pay a maximum of 2 tons of tax on this and this can also be spread out. After repayment of the bank and tax, more than 1 million cash remains. Would like to see someone else plodding through, do fun things.
Roy 26 November 2019
Hi Kees, 20% vpb, but then the money is still in the BV, money also has to come out again -> dividend or wage
