EU pork price comparator shows upward movement

While pig prices in the European Union have remained fairly stable this week, the Dutch pig price has risen. This is evident from the most recent price comparison by the German interest group ISN.

Since week 3, the average Dutch pig price has gradually shown a slight increase in the comparison. This week the pig price has risen by 3 cents and now amounts to a price of €1,723. The Netherlands thus ranks 6th in the ISN price comparison this week. This puts the Netherlands above Belgium and France.

The pig price in the Netherlands and Spain were the only risers in the comparison. Denmark remains at the top. With a price of €2,024, the country is far above Spain with a price of €1,882. Germany is in third place with a price of €1,796.
