The major German slaughterers therefore use a 'Hauspreise'. Such a division was already considered possible by some market parties in advance.
Corona
Due to the corona pandemic, meat sales, especially within Europe, are extremely difficult. And the day after Easter, the pig supply in Europe is somewhat wider, because a slaughter day was canceled last Monday.
The question now is whether the German slaughterers will close the gap of 4 cents next week, or whether the VEZG quotation will then have to fall by the wayside. In short: Peace on the European pig market is still far to be found.
