Piglet market is not getting the spirit of sunny weather yet

De DCA Stock Exchange Price 2.0 remained unchanged last Friday. Market conditions have not yet called for an increase, but the optimism is palpable and this is expected to change soon. The weather conditions have changed and sunny temperatures are expected, which will help dust off the barbecue.
However, the optimistic outlook does not make it possible to increase the piglet price. Traders characterize the market as unchanged and report that there is little exciting going on. Exports to Spain are also somewhat depressed.
Piglet export
In recent weeks, the total Dutch piglet export has undergone some fluctuations. In week 20, exports fell slightly to more than 134.500 pieces, but the level still exceeds the exports of previous years.
Piglet price moves sideways
Traders almost unanimously opt for an unchanged piglet price. This means a DCA BestPigletPrice of €49,50 for week 22. In Germany, the VEZG quotation also remained stable this week at €53 per piglet. the Danish price was also unable to increase and remains at €66,60.
