ABZ increases sales by 50.000 tons

18 January 2022 - Wouter Baan

ABZ De Collaboration takes over Bosgoed Diervoeders from Wilp in Gelderland. This means that the feed cooperative will continue to grow to an annual sales of 750.000 tons.

Bosgoed Diervoeders is a regional player and active in pig, cattle and goat feeds. The production location is close to the A1. The company said it was looking for a partner for further professionalization.

The location in the triangle of cities Apeldoorn, Zutphen and Deventer is strategic, as can be read in the press release. ABZ De Samen already has production locations in Nijkerk, Eindhoven, Haastrecht, Stroobos, Markelo and Leusden.

Recently merged ABZ Diervoeding en De Samen - to ABZ De Samen - with a joint sales volume of about 700.000 tons of feed and loose raw materials. A simple calculation shows that the acquired volume of Bosgoed Diervoeders amounts to a sloppy 50.000 tons. The acquisition price for this has not been disclosed.
