Feijen Diervoeders from Dalfsen in Overijssel has been incorporated by De Heus. De Heus thus adds a small regional player from the east of the Netherlands to its empire.
The Feijen factory has a production capacity of 85.000 tons, of which 65% consists of pig feed production. The rest is cattle. In their own words, the current nine factories of De Heus are at the maximum production capacity.
The acquisition of Feijen offers additional opportunities, also in the production of specific animal feeds for chain concepts, says De Heus. A takeover sum is not mentioned. The last takeover that De Heus made in its own country was last summer when Coppens Diervoeding was incorporated.

Sjaak opens your blinders for a moment, fortunately there are still plenty and better animal feed companies left, fortunately otherwise the competition will soon be gone for us too.
