Topigs Norsvin saw turnover grow in 2021

June 15, 2022 - Stef Wissink

Topigs Norsvin managed to increase its turnover again in 2021. Turnover increased by almost 10% to €209 million.

The company's gross profit was slightly lower at €24,1 million. A record gross profit was realized in 2020. However, the result after tax in 2021 was at a comparable level to 2020 and amounted to €6 million.

Satisfaction with result
Topigs Norsvin speaks in an explanation of the figures about 'good results'. In their own words, these figures make it possible to accelerate the genetic progress that the company is making and also to spread it more quickly to customers.

The growing turnover of Topigs Norsvin was the result of growing sales of sows and semen in 2021. Sales of the TN70 sow grew by double digits worldwide. Sales of the TN Tempo terminal boar also exceeded expectations.
