News Half-year figures

AgruniekRijnvallei itself also surprised about sales growth

8 July 2022 - Wouter Baan

Although animal numbers in the Netherlands are shrinking, AgruniekRijnvallei is once again showing impressive growth figures. In the first half of 2022, compound feed sales rose by 8,2%. The cooperative itself also finds this increase remarkable. The production is at the max and is therefore housed elsewhere.

The sales of AgruniekRijnvallei grew in all categories due to the increase in new customers. In the press release, the cooperative itself speaks of remarkable growth. The production capacity can no longer meet the demand and is therefore outsourced to Vitelia.

Ample stocks
What is the formula for success? In April director Arjen van Nuland said in a interview with Boerenbusiness about this: "It is actually quite simple. We supply the right products at competitive conditions, supported by a good field service." The company also states that the turbulent raw materials market could be reasonably controlled due to good purchasing positions and ample inventories.

The good sales figures so far can be seen as a crown on the jubilee year. In June, the merged cooperative celebrated its tenth anniversary.
