Chris Deen, CEO of ForFarmers since July, is temporarily retiring due to health reasons. In the meantime, his duties are taken over by CFO Roeland Tjebbes and COO Pieter Wollesinkel.
ForFarmers assumes that Deen will be out of the running for a longer period of time. This is a setback for the listed animal feed group, given that he has only been employed for a short time and ForFarmers is performing disappointingly.
They are also busy in Lochem recalibrating the 'new' strategy. These plans will be announced on Thursday 17 November. Initially the intention was that ForFarmers would move outside Europe, but it is expected that the existing home markets will be given priority again.
For the time being, Tjebbes and Wolleswinkel do the honors together. The former had already been responsible for a few months before Deen joined the company.
