Meat giant Danish Crown reorganizes in Germany

Reorganization
CEO Jais Vailleur says that the activities in Germany should become more profitable. In this way, the overcapacity is cleared. The intention is also to make the slaughtering and processing plant in Essen more flexible, more in line with the declining meat consumption. In addition, Danish Crown does not have access from Germany to export markets outside Europe, due to African swine fever.
