Piglet prices often start to look up from November, but there is not much reason for that at the moment. The market looks reasonably balanced.
It is said by some traders - in order to known reasons - again opted for an increase, but that does not roll out from the average statements this week, which is higher than the final listing. The DCA BestPigletPrice remains the same at €50,50 per piglet. The German piglet price also remains the same at €65 per piglet.
The market is reasonably balanced. There are enough piglets to meet domestic demand. Sales outside the Netherlands are weak. Spain is not yet on the market, nor is Germany. The stable situation on the piglet market is related to the equally stable pig prices that are not really stimulating yet.
