The top of the piglet market is almost reached, which means that the spring recovery is coming to an end. Although traders are increasingly opting for unchanged, the DCA BestPigletPrice is still rising this week.
The sale of piglets was already more difficult last week and this week the trade is even more difficult. In the sense that the wild is gone, underlying there are still shortages. Spanish integrations are buying fewer couples and in the interior buyers are hesitating against the high prices, despite the fact that the pig prices this year have good cards in hand due to the increasingly tight supply.
Lower than previous years
Increasingly, traders believe that the BPP should be increased slightly. There is also a group that believes that the peak has now been reached.
