A total of 151.600 tons were exported. This represents a 25,9% increase compared to the same month last year, when the volume was 120.400 tons. Export revenues also reached a record level: at $368,4 million, the turnover was 29,9% higher than the $283,7 million achieved in September 2023. This confirms Brazil's continuing strengthening position in the global pork market.

With the strong performance in September, Brazilian pork exports between January and September 2025 showed a 13,2% increase in export volume compared to the same period last year. A total of 1,121 million tons were exported, compared to 990.700 tons in 2024. Export revenues increased by 24,6% to $2,702 billion in the same period, compared to $2,169 billion a year earlier. These figures underscore the continued growth of the Brazilian pork sector, which benefits from a strong international sales channel and favorable international pricing.

Philippines remains main destination
The Philippines continues to rapidly expand its share of Brazilian pork exports. In September, the country imported 49.000 tons, a 73,9% increase compared to the same month last year. This consolidates the Philippines' position as the leading market for Brazilian pork.

After the Philippines, China follows with 13.600 tons (-18,2%), Japan with 11.400 tons (+32,4%), Vietnam, and Mexico each with 9.600 tons (+39,8% and +55,8%, respectively). Chile (8.300 tons, -13,7%), Hong Kong (8.200 tons, -5,3%), Singapore (5.600 tons, +2,2%), Argentina (4.200 tons, +82,2%), and Georgia (4.000 tons, +120%) also recorded significant purchases. The wide range of destinations highlights the growing global demand for Brazilian pork.

Rio Grande do Sul is growing strongly
Santa Catarina remains Brazil's largest exporting state with 72.700 tons, a 17,4% increase compared to the same month last year. Rio Grande do Sul holds second place, exporting 35.700 tons (39,6% increase), followed by Paraná with 25.300 tons (35,5% increase).
