Vion has following the announced sale of the locations in Crailsheim and Waldkraiburg A buyer has now also been found for the cattle slaughterhouse in Buchloe, Bavaria. The Irish family business ABP Food Group is taking over the operations, subject to approval by the German regulator.

After a delay at the beginning, the German gets exit strategy Vion is now taking considerable shape with the sale of three locations in a short period. Vion is still exploring options for locations in Memmingen and Eching-Weixerau, where leather is produced from hides.
