It's time again to turn the sales times for the upcoming 2017 harvest. This year is the game master of the DCA Potato Bingo Tineke Stuifzand. DCA has introduced potato bingo to arrive at an average selling price for the chips potatoes on the basis of completely randomly selected sales moments.
When spinning the bingo balls, a harvest year is divided into nine portions of six weeks each. For each period, one ball is drawn via the bingo game. This number is equivalent to one trading day. The average bingo price can be determined via the closing quotations on the futures market on those trading days.
