Policy plan Brabant leads to vacancy

4 July 2017 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 1 reaction

Brabant's policy plan to impose additional environmental requirements on livestock farms and force them to be demolished before they can expand will only lead to more vacancy. That is what Hans Peters, chairman of agricultural real estate at trade association VBO Makelaar, says.

Peters also discusses the situation in dairy farming and developments on the land market. "The rise in the price of land is leveling off, although the demand for current plots remains the same."
