Solar fields on farmland are taking off. Arable farmers more often rent out their land to energy companies. As a farmer, what should you pay attention to when you go into business and rent out your land for panels? Tax specialist Peter van Brakel of Accon avm explains.

Place the panels 1.5 meters off the ground so that the sheep can graze under them and not bite the cables.

Unfortunately, our LTO is stopping this!
This is very unfortunate because it shouldn't matter what the sector earns money from, as long as they earn as long as it is not criminal.

And then greenhouses. They can also be sidelined. In any case, don't expand anymore. I am an entrepreneur and if I can earn more with my land by placing collectors than growing my onions, carrots and potatoes and sometimes have to give them away for nothing, I will and will decide for myself what I do with my land

People also walk to rent out your roof for solar panels.
A fixed price for 15 years and then the installation for you.
Anyone have experience with this or tips?
Sounds like something to me, no worries, risk or investment!

Lousy response from LTO. The article is full of opinions and not facts.
Let every farmer make his own choice if he wants to turn his land into a solar farm.
The municipalities and provinces will have drawn up or are going to make the policy for this and not LTO.
LTO in this way you do not represent the interests of the farmers!!
You can no longer respond.
