Good news for dairy farming!
What a man with a lot of knowledge of the sector and how I like to listen to him!
Could this man also exert political influence?
The agricultural sector is the driving force of the Dutch economy and this man could further increase that awareness here and there!!!

When the fox preaches his passion, farm your chickens. We have experienced this so often that after such statements the decline will quickly set in. Pay attention. Such a statement is characteristic of top formation.

Cor Pierik is not a fox in my opinion!
Partly due to the export, we have had a strong price increase for dairy!!
this man only gives figures and facts.

must ensure that we can obtain phosphate rights from the pigs.

Export growth expressed in monetary value makes no sense. The increased butter export is entirely attributable to a butter price increase of approximately 80% in the first half of the year compared to 2016. Ditto for Cheese.

In volume intra-EU exports have 'only' increased by 3% for both products.

Exports outside the EU decreased by -16,1% for butter and increased by 8,1% for cheese.

Butter is just the cream of the milk, right?
Cheese does contain a lot of milk, so it seems to me that more milk was needed + 8% as you wrote.
That seems quite a bit to me.

This is certainly due to the phosphate reduction plan!
Robert 25 September 2017
@ Pretty rude

The export increase for cheese is approximately 154 million kg of milk. That is for the entire EU, not just the Netherlands. That is 154 per mille of the 1 billion kg of milk produced by the EU.

@ robert.
I think Cor is really talking about the Dutch export of dairy.
Robert 26 September 2017
That's right, the increase in Dutch exports outside the EU, calculated on the basis of milk, is 2,58 per mille.

Although the Netherlands has exported 3% more within the EU, it has imported 6,6% more.
