'Not requiring grazing is a good thing'

Oscar Meuffels has been director of the Dutch Dairy Organization (NZO) since last month. He tells his opinion the coalition agreement 'Confidence in the future' from VVD, CDA, D66 and ChristenUnie. Meuffels: "The new cabinet does not want to make outdoor grazing mandatory. The dairy sector can continue to arrange this itself. We are very satisfied with that." 

The possibility for a generally binding declaration (AVV), also included in the coalition agreement, Meuffels may want to use to enforce measures that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
