'Dairy farmers leave their cows out in the meadow more often'

More than 65% of the cows were out on pasture in 2016. If we compare this with the past, there are still fewer cows in the meadow. However, the number of dairy farmers who leave their cows in the pasture has increased. Agricultural economist Cor Pierik of Statistics Netherlands explains the figures.

Come to it too National Economic Agriculture Congress on November 30 in Bunnik (Utrecht). Cor Pierik, among others, is a speaker and will present the definitive figures from the Agricultural Census 2017.
