Market flash: Herma van den Pol

The milk price for 2018 starts with a 3

13 December 2017 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 4 comments

A further falling butter price has major consequences for the milk price. The first quarter of 2018 in particular produces a hangover. However, it does not immediately mean that the milk money will also show such a decrease. More in a new dairy flash by Herma van den Pol.

I'm getting a little tired of this mood-setting journalism, every time a correction up or down comes from DCA rather bombastic predictions.

I hope that a little less of this "Telegraph" rhetoric is used because it undermines credibility.

dca stopped those milk contracts years ago. and I think they were the first to report the increase. but you don't need to have studied for this to predict this if he sees that you won't be giving away the spot milk for 25 cents today. It will probably be rather that he would rather not hear it. everyone would rather see their own product become expensive. unfortunately that is not always the case. merry christmas..........

I'm sorry, but I've been in the trade for a bit longer, supply and demand determines the mood, and the price. So the traders determine that.
Not journalism and Telegraaf.
