Vion Germany drops out at 1,50 euros

1 March 2018 - Redactie Boerenbusiness

While the German pig price (the VEZG quotation) rose further this week to €1,55 (+€0,05), Vion Germany dropped out at €1,50 per kilo. According to market expert Wouter Baan, the price rally seems to have come to an end now that there is talk of 'hauspreise' for the second time this year.

In this video it is mentioned that Tönnies also notes €1,50. This information is not correct. The pig price of Tönnies has increased by €0,05 to €1,55 per kilo.
