The 10 largest pig farms in the Netherlands have stopped growing for years. The average pig farm, on the other hand, is getting bigger and bigger. Nevertheless, these figures deserve a comment, according to Cor Pierik, agriculture spokesman for Statistics Netherlands. In conversation with Wouter Baan, Pierik discusses the statistics.
