Price of fine onions is rising due to a lack of coarse onions

The fine sorting of the regional fair in Emmeloord (0% to 30% coarse) shows a significant price increase this week. According to Maas van den Heuvel, exchange manager at LCNN, this is mainly due to the lack of coarse onions.
