Is it own land or rented or leased land, because then they are not arable farms with 300 hectares, but with 300 hectares in use, that is quite different.

The starting point was the 2018 agricultural census, he said.
So yes what you are using.

Own 100 ha yourself
I don't want to trade, not even for 500 ha lease

certainly received from your father .... not everyone is born with a golden spoon in their mouth. they just have to work for it and do it

started with 40 ha lease
acquired property through entrepreneurship without getting anything
I don't rent a meter anymore, there's nothing to build with it now
then you better go and work elsewhere

100 ha of property under its own power is a very good achievement

Just before reality
Bought the lease in 2002 for 10000 per ha
I had borrowed half and the rest, paid this off within 6 years
In the meantime bought a lot of land for around 30000
These were the real prices for good clay soil in those years
Now a loan is running with 1,7 interest
Interest charges are less than regular rent

In recent years, many companies have started working together, first the hectares are added together, later you share the profit.
This will also lead to more large companies.

Pete, if what you say is true, I'd just keep it to myself.
Still, I'll wait a little longer before I switch completely to arable farming
