Drought remains a danger for the east of the Netherlands

After an exceptional period of warm weather, a cool and changeable weather type brings more rain. However, this also does not directly supplement the precipitation shortage and the groundwater level remains extremely low, especially in the east and south-east of the Netherlands. This has consequences for agriculture, explains weather forecaster Robert de Vries.
