In determining the preliminary harvest estimate for onions, Statistics Netherlands will make use of an expert panel with representatives from the Dutch onion chain for the first time next autumn.
The experts are allowed to express their opinion on the provisional harvest figure. Cor Pierik, agricultural spokesperson for CBS, explains how the panel will work in this edition of Boerenbusiness TV. "Ultimately, CBS will determine the final figure."
