Land price breaks record, significantly less traded

While the land price broke a record in 2019, significantly less land was also traded. This is apparent from quarterly figures from the Land Registry. Anne Jan Doorn highlights the figures in this land market update.

Significantly less land traded means that percentage wise, more land goes to the government.

No wonder the average price then rises.
Nice to keep the benches out of the wind for a while.

It is logical that land prices rise with a rotten policy of our government: buying 10000ha of land without money (with additional government debt) to plant trees on it.
(calculate further if you continue like today, there will be no more meters for agriculture by 2100)
