'100-acre farmers own a quarter of the land'

The number of agricultural and horticultural companies with more than 100 hectares of land has increased sharply in the past 10 years, Cor Pierik of Statistics Netherlands explains in Boerenbusiness facts. "The so-called 100 acre farmers together own about 25% of the agricultural land."
