The Goes and Middenmeer exchanges have the last quotation for onions from the 2021 harvest this week. The average of the quotations of the regional exchanges has taken a step down again this week. The first (winter) onion sets are already on the market, which does not make trading the old crop any easier, explains DCA market expert Pieter Post.
